After-School Program
Camp Gencheff's after-school program provides care to school-aged children with intellectual and physical disabilities. We are committed to nurturing interactive play, imagination and creativity. We strive to provide a safe, healthy atmosphere where all children’s emotional, physical, and developmental needs are met. We aim to build self-confidence through the acquisition of new skills, accomplishments and insights and to teach cooperation while playing and working with others. We encourage all children, through the acquisition of new skills, accomplishments and insights, to be as independent as possible
The program runs Monday-Friday and is open until 6 pm. The cost is $20 per day. Snacks are provided.
Busses available to our program from the following schools: Charlottetown Rural, Birchwood, Glen Stewart and Stratford Elementary.
Programming

Our activities aim to engage your child in various types of gross and fine motor play whilst providing opportunities for homework assistance, music, arts and crafts, sports, fitness, and life skill-building.
